Delete your Hwefo account

You can delete your Hwefo account and its data at any time. Deletion is permanent and happens straight away.

Delete it yourself

• In the Hwefo app (iPhone or Android): open Settings, then Account, then tap Delete my account and confirm.
• On the web: log in at hwefo.com, open Settings, then Account, then Delete my account and confirm.

Or ask us

Email hello@hwefo.com from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my Hwefo account". We delete it within 30 days, usually the same day, and reply to confirm.

What is deleted

• Your login, name, phone and WhatsApp numbers.
• Your assistant and its settings, voice, greeting and business knowledge.
• All calls, recordings, transcripts, summaries, messages and bookings.
• Your minute balance and usage history. Unused minutes are not refunded.

What is kept

• Paystack keeps its own record of any payments you made, as the law requires for financial transactions.
• Server logs that may contain your phone number are removed automatically within 90 days.

Stop call forwarding

Deleting your account stops the assistant, but your phone network keeps forwarding until you cancel it. Dial ##21# on MTN or AT, or #21# on Telecel, then press call.
